2022 was definitely a year for the record books, but musically and personally here for yours truly. But you can’t get rid of VV that easily. That’s actually something this list of the best new heavy songs of January 2023 and I have in common.
For heavy music lovers, January brought us massive collaboration tracks like “Argent Justice” from Distant, Suicide Silence, Emmure, and a TON of other amazing heavy bands. We also were blessed with highly anticipated new music from bands like Metallica, August Burns Red, Overkill, and so many more. And of course, we can’t forget those mind-blowing underground heavy releases like “Alone Under Neon Lights” from Eramnesia.
