2020 has been a brutal year to say the least. Thankfully, the Danish black metal duo, Sinnrs, brought us an equally brutal single to finish it off. In their new single “Agnus Dei”, Sinnrs deliver a smooth blend of classic and extreme metal.
The band’s use of classical elements only further intensify the energy of this song. It’s dark, melodic, and brutally heavy, immersing you into a haunting atmosphere made for Winter 2020/2021. If you’re a fan of bands like Behemoth and Genus Ordinis Dei, “Agnus Dei” is a must listen.

Who is Sinnrs?
Sinnrs was formed in 2017 by members Nero and Maestus. The band emerged onto the extreme metal scene in 2019 with the release of their debut album, Profound. Their fusion of the intense brutality of extreme metal and the elegance from classical and opera music delivers a musical experience with depth. While these genres typically have extreme differences, Sinnrs manages to combine them into heavy music that makes both their differences and similarities shine.
