October 26th Tracklist: New Pallbearer & More!

1. “Instinctive (Slaughterlust)” – Hatebreed

Hatebreed is a band that never disappointments me. Every song they put out is just so crushingly heavy, and that’s exactly the case with this track. “Instinctive (Slaughterlust)” is the 2nd track Hatebreed has dropped from their upcoming 8th album ‘Weight of the False Self’. The album isn’t set to be released until November 27th via Nuclear Blast, but you can preorder it here in the meantime.

2. “Extinguo” – After Smoke Clears

“Extinguo” comes off of After Smoke Clears new album ‘Edification’ which is set to be released on November 12th. The band also released a video for this track which is the 2nd addition in the ‘Edification’ video trilogy. The three videos will go from a hypothetical dystopia to reality in an attempt to depict the demise of the human race. As the band notes in the video description for “Extinguo”, this 2nd part dives into “deforestation, depletion of resources and overpopulation.” Check out the video for “Extinguo” below!

After Smoke Clears also has a bunch of really awesome merch/album bundles available for preorder like this album/hoodie/shirt bundle I’ve had my eye on.

3. “Sudden Death” – Mr. Bungle

Mr. Bungle brings us just over 7 minutes of pure thrash in this banger of a track. It comes off the band’s upcoming album “The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo” which is set to be released on October 30th through Ipecac Records. This will be Mr. Bungle’s first new album released in 21 years and you can preorder it here. Mr. Bungle will also be doing a live stream this Saturday October 31st. You can get your tickets and exclusive merch bundles for that here.

4. “Vengeance & Ruination” – Pallbearer

Doom metallers Pallbearer just released their 4th album ‘Forgotten Days’ through Nuclear Blast which is where you’ll find this track. Pallbearer creates a dark yet entrancing atmosphere in “Vengeance & Ruination”. ‘Forgotten Days’ is available now. You can pick up a physical copy here, but if I were you I’d hurry up. It looks like they’re almost completely sold out and with music this good, I wouldn’t expect anything less.

5. “Missile to Gun” – Armored Saint

“Missile to Gun” comes from Armored Saint’s new album ‘Punching the Sky’. John Bush’s vocals are absolutely one of a kind and “Missile to Gun” is just an instant energy boost for me. The band also dropped a music video for this track that’s worth checking out too. ‘Punching the Sky’ is out now through Metal Blade Records. Grab yourself a copy of the album and some Armored Saint merch here.

6. “Particle” – Pyramaze

Out of my past New Music Mondays in recent weeks, I’d definitely say this playlist is the most eclectic. This track in particular though is totally different. Between my first listen on Friday and me writing this on Sunday afternoon, I’ve listed to just this track probably 20 times. It’s just that freaking good. “Particle” will be on Pyramaze’s new album ‘Epitaph’ which is due out on November 13th via AFM Records. The progressive metal band have created something here that even non-heavy music fans would enjoy. You can preorder your copy of ‘Epitaph’ here.
