With their newly released, self-titled EP, Florida’s Deceptive Intruder delivers in your face death metal. The Tampa Bay Area metallers utilize a ruthless mix of catchy riffs, brutally heavy vocals, and slamming drums. All of these are present throughout the EP, but my favorite examples belong to the second half.
“Less Talk More Blood” has an eerie, almost startling opening that builds to a no-holds barred style intensity along with a chorus the pit is bound to go wild for. This momentum continues into “Panic Attack”, the EP closer, which lives up to its name with its pulse pounding instrumentals and viciously aggressive vocals.
The current Deceptive Intruder line up consists of:
Vocals- Isabella Cattani
Guitars- David
Bass- Stitch
Deceptive Intruder is available on Spotify or Apple Music. You can also stream their Spring 2021 live set here on Youtube.

Brutally heavy music calls for some sick band merch! This band tee features the cover art from the new Deceptive Intruder EP, along with the words “Endless Dimensional Portal” on the back.
And don’t let the green velvet skirt fool you! This dangerously dark look is one of my favorite ways to wear merch, no matter where I’m going. Add your favorite pair of flat black boots, and you’re ready for the show!
