A few weeks ago, I wrote a post you may have seen about the coolest alternative fashion masks on Etsy. In that article I noted that I had not yet purchased from all of those shops, but still wanted to provide you with what I found during my own research. I am super excited to announce that one of those shops, Razo Boutique, gifted me one of their masks to try and I couldn’t wait to tell you all about it!
**The masks featured are cloth fashion face masks and they are not medical grade. Neither I nor the Etsy seller can make medical or health claims.**
Razo Boutique sells alternative fashion masks that cater to horror lovers, goths, and witches in addition to a few baseball and softball related masks. They also carry a variety of alternative fashion related products such as make up bags, tote bags, shirts, and more. This shop really does have something for everyone.
What Mask Did I Get From Razo Boutique?
Razo Boutique sent me this horror movie face mask. It has some of the most popular horror movie villains pictured such as It, Freddy Krueger, and my personal favorite, Michael Myers. When it arrived, it came in this cute plastic packaging that kept it safe during the shipping process.
How Comfortable Is This Razo Boutique Mask?
Let me put it to you this way. I have 3 different fabric face masks that I use while running errands, one of which I purchased from a semi large alternative fashion retailer. I still rotate all of them because I prefer to wash them in between each use, but I almost always grab my Razo Boutique mask since I received it. It is by far the most comfortable mask I have.
My other 2 face masks are much tighter than this one (despite them being one size). The mask I have from the larger alternative retailer actually is my least favorite. The material it’s made with is similar to a t-shirt so it’s very thin and I have to always flatten it before I put it on because it rolls up. With my other mask, I started to notice strings coming off it after only wearing it a couple of times. I don’t have that problem with this mask. It’s well made and the material seems to be sturdy.
I also usually wear my glasses when grocery shopping, and this is the only mask I have that does not constantly fog up my glasses. I think this might be because it’s slightly looser than my other 2.
Any Complaints?
The only negative thing I would say is because this mask is looser on me, it will sometimes fall down just slightly on my nose but it’s only when I talk. To be fair, this is something I’ve noticed with other people’s masks while out in public and the only other mask I have that does not do that is the one that started to appear worn after only a couple of uses. As such, I feel like this is a common issue with fabric face masks in general and is not a deal breaker for me.
Would I Recommend It?
I would definitely recommend picking up a mask from Razo Boutique if you are in the market for one. Not only do I love their designs, but they are also super comfortable and very well made.
