The Versatile Virgo’s Mission
The best things in life are out there. But for those of us interested in a metal lifestyle, you need to know where to look for those things. That’s where I come in.
Heavy music is something I live and breathe. From the food that I eat to the clothes that I wear, it quite literally finds it way into everything I do. However, being from a small town, the things that I’m into aren’t always so easy to come by. Heavy music, especially metal, is a big, broad world and so often, it seems we’re only presented with one side of it. My mission is to highlight the amazing things that a metal lifestyle has to offer, and the creative minds that are working to create those things.
Heavy music is the engine. And my content, usually in the form of food, fashion, or music related articles like interviews, reviews, and live coverage, is the destination. Think of me as your metaphorical tour bus driver. Where do you want to go?

To Submit Your Music:
Updated 1/26/23: Due to receiving a high volume of music submissions, music submissions are only available for singles. If you released a new album or EP, please send your three best songs from your newly released album/EP.
Send an email to contact@theversatilevirgo.com with the subject line as “Band Collaboration” along with your band’s name & if the submission is for a single, EP, or album. In your email, please also make sure to include the following:
- Your band’s website, bandcamp, and/or social media profiles (please send any that are applicable)
- Link(s) to your music
- info about your new release
- 2-3 high resolution photos of your band
- High resolution photo of your single/EP/album artwork
- If your band is signed or unsigned
- Anything else you’d like to add
Please note: Due to an influx of music submissions, unfortunately, I’m not always able to feature everything including music I like sometimes. As a one woman operation, my availability does book up rather quickly. So if you do not hear back on a submission, please don’t take it personally as this could be for a variety of reasons including when it was sent in and when it was released. And of course, you are always welcome to submit future releases for consideration!
I do NOT accept music submissions via Instagram DM. Any emails received without all of the above information will not be accepted.
Bands or companies that promote racism, sexism, homophobia, or any other form of bigotry will not be accepted under any circumstances.
