One of the things I’m thankful for in 2021 is all of the epically heavy music that has been gifted to us so far this year. With so much new music out there, it can be hard to keep up. That’s a big reason why I started New Music Monday on my blog to being with. I love sharing these songs with you, and hearing your feedback. So with that, it’s time to make your voices heard on what you think are the best heavy songs of 2021 so far!
Recently I added a polling system to both New Music Monday and Unsigned & Unleashed. That means that with each post, you vote for your favorite featured song. The songs with the most votes by the end of polling will join other fan-voted favorites on our list of The Best Metal Songs of 2021 at the end of the year. However, this is something that wasn’t added until much later this year so earlier editions missed out.
Because I want this list to be 100% fan chosen, you have the ability to vote for your favorite songs from those editions now through the end of September 2021. You can select multiple answers in this poll, so please select ALL of your favorites. I’ve also got all of these songs lined up for you in this Spotify playlist in case you missed any.
Why Are Some Songs From Previous Editions Not Listed?
This list doesn’t include any of the songs from recent editions that included a polling system. It also doesn’t include any that were released prior to 2021.
