Happy New Music Monday! This week we’re exploring new releases from After Smoke Clears, Hatebreed and more!

1. “Weight of the False Self” – Hatebreed
Hatebreed is back with some highly anticipated new music! “Weight of the False Self” is the title track off of their new album due out on November 27th via Nuclear Blast Records. The album, which follows 2016’s ‘The Concrete Confessional’ was initially supposed to be released in May, but it was delayed due to Covid. Hatebreed has always been pretty consistent, and this track is no exception. You can preorder ‘Weight of the False Self’ here.
2. “Snakebite” – Raging Speedhorn
“Snakebite” is pure unfiltered aggression from beginning to end. The track comes from Raging Speedhorn’s upcoming album, ‘Hard to Kill’. This is the first album recorded with the band’s new vocalist, Dan Cook. The album is set to be released on October 23rd through the band’s own label, Red Weed Records, but you can preorder it here.
3. “Rapacious” – After Smoke Clears
After Smoke Clears recently dropped their new track, “Rapacious”, along with a music video for it. It will be on the band’s new album, ‘Edification’, which is set to be released on November 12th. The music video that After Smoke Clears released is part one in a three part series. The videos will go from a hypothetical dystopia to reality in an attempt to depict the demise of the human race. Greed, consumerism, and worshiping brands as false idols are at the forefront of “Rapacious”. ‘Edification’ is available for preorder here.
4. “Of Sound and Fury” – Dead Quiet
Dead Quiet just released their new album ‘Truth and Ruin’ via Artoffact Records which is where you’ll find “Of Sound and Fury”. The Vancouver based band perfectly blends both melodic doom and stoner rock in this must listen track. ‘Truth and Ruin’ is out now and you can pick up a copy here.
