Happy New Music Monday! I hope you had a super awesome weekend.
This week we’re exploring new tracks from a variety of different bands, including G- Punk pioneers, (Hed) P.E. I’ve also included your much needed, weekly dose of new death metal. Before you jump into the song list below, don’t forget to press play on my Spotify playlist so you can listen along.
New Music Monday: 7/27/20 Tracklist
1. “First Blood” – (Hed) P.E.
(Hed) P.E. is back with new music! This track is the first single release off of their upcoming album ‘Class of 2020.’ (Hed) P.E. is aggressive from beginning to end on this track while also dabbling into a reggae vibe. Their album is due out on August 21st, so we’ll keep jamming to this to tide us over until then.
2. Ultimate – Nasty
“Ultimate” is the first track that Nasty has released off of their upcoming album ‘Menace’ and it is a banger! The Belgium hardcore band also released a music video which just further elaborates on how brutally heavy this track is. I can tell this one’s going to be insane when performed live. Wear your mask people because it’s necessary that we headbang to this at a show ASAP! ‘Menace’ is set to be released on September 25th.
3. Another Breath – Ingested feat. Kirk Windstein
Kirk Windstein of Crowbar has such a unique voice and I feel like I could pick it out of anywhere. I was super excited when randomly jamming over the weekend to hear him team up with Ingested on this track. “Another Breath” is deeply heavy, dark, and haunting. The music video released was done in claymation and gives off a very similar vibe to Tool’s ‘Sober.’ You can find this song on Ingested’s upcoming album ‘Where Only Gods May Tread’ on August 14th.
