Have you ever been to a concert where the vocalist gives the mic to a person in the crowd? When that moment happens, fans in the crowd can immediately be split into two groups. The first group consists of those who have no fucking clue what the lyrics are and are silently hoping it doesn’t come to them. This is especially true for those that are only in attendance because their friend or significant other had an extra ticket. The second group is the fans that are confident they know all of the words. Everyone in the room is hoping it goes to them. Fellow headbanger, Jason, shares what happened when he was passed the mic at a P.O.D & Alien Ant Farm show.

Fan Concert Diary #3: P.O.D. & Alien Ant Farm on March 12, 2019 at Dolans Warehouse in Limerick, Ireland.
“In March last year, I went to see P.O.D and Alien Ant Farm. When P.O.D sang ‘Southtown’, Sonny came down into the crowd and handed me the mic. He let me sing the rest of the song where it goes ‘Dont wanna throw up my fist, Ain’t got to be like this’! It was the best moment of my life!‘
