Happy New Music Monday everyone! This week we have a bunch of intensely heavy new tracks, including new music from Rob Zombie. Make sure to start your week off on the right note by jamming along with me to these new rock and metal songs.
NEW MUSIC MONDAY PLAYLIST FOR 2/1/21: New Music From Rob Zombie & More!

1. “The Eternal Struggles of the Howling Man” – Rob Zombie
Rob Zombie is set to release his new album ‘The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy’ on March 12th. “The Eternal Struggles of the Howling Man” is the second track that he has released so far. The heavy new track has an old school Rob Zombie vibe, and undeniable hypnotic energy that only Rob Zombie can master. Based on what we’ve heard so far, this may be one of Rob Zombie’s best albums in recent years. You can preorder ‘The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy’ here.
2. “Peach” – Chevelle
“Peach” is the latest single Chevelle has released off of their upcoming album, ‘NIRATIAS (Nothing Is Real and This Is a Simulation)’. Chevelle has this amazing way of mixing together both emotional and aggressive elements, and ‘Peach’ is no exception to that. ‘NIRATIAS’ won’t be released until March 5th, but you can preorder it here in the meantime.
3. “Daughter of the Djinn” – Tribulation
I just can’t seem to get enough Tribulation this winter season! Their new album ‘Where the Gloom Becomes Sound’, has finally dropped, and that’s where you’ll find “Daughter of the Djinn”. It’s dark, haunting, and filled with riffs that will move your soul. You can order a copy of Tribulation’s new album along with some merch here.
4. “The Blood and The Iron” – Einherjer
If you’re looking for new viking metal, then look no further than Einherjer. “The Blood and The Iron” is the second single they’ve released from their new album ‘North Star’ due out on February 26th. It’s a track that you can’t help but headbang to with its insane riffs and grooves. Not to mention, the chorus will definitely have you singing along. ‘North Star’ is available for preorder here, along with the 25th anniversary edition of their first album ‘Dragons of the North’ which is being released on the same day.
5. “Crowdpleaser” – The Southern Oracle
“Crowdpleaser” is the intensely heavy new track from Hungary’s The Southern Oracle. The metallic hardcore powerhouse delivers pure raw aggression in this song, making it a great way to kickstart your Monday. While we’re waiting for word on if an album is in the works, you can check out The Southern Oracle’s previous releases on their bandcamp page.
6. “The Narcissist” – Devil Sold His Soul
The UK’s Devil Sold His Soul recently made their return at the end of 2020 after several years of silence. The post hardcore band will be releasing their new album ‘Loss’ on April 9th. “The Narcissist” comes off of that release bringing a deeply heavy and brutal intensity.
